Pastors Welcome
Pastor’s Welcome
It has been my privilege and honor to pastor North End Baptist Church since 2009. I believe God has strategically and intentionally placed us here to impact Beaumont and the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ. We want to serve you as part of our community and we are grateful you have decided to look through our website.
My heartbeat is to connect each person with God and with others. God desires to have a relationship with each person. He proved this by sending His Only Son, Jesus Christ, to this earth to pay our sin debt and make it possible to know Him in a personal way. If you have never settled this issue, please make it a priority right now to enter His family. It’s an eternal decision.
The Lord would also have us to connect with each other. ‘Family’ is one of the words Jesus used to describe His church. I believe God ‘gifts’ and ‘calls’ people to specific church families and when He does, He desires that they get plugged in to service to Himself and others (1 Peter 4:10). As you look through our website, I want to encourage you to see ways we are ministering, but also pray for ways you can be a minister. As a staff, we seek to ‘equip the saints for the work of the ministry’ (Ephesians 4:12).
We know life is full of questions and difficult situations and seasons, but we also know that life has true meaning and purpose when it’s lived following Jesus Christ. To help guide us into proper a relationship with God and others…and to keep us focused on why we do what we do, we based everything off the foundation of our faith, The Bible…. the only book God wrote.
Our desire is to let you know that you are always welcome at North End Baptist Church and that you have an open invitation to worship with us at any time. We often sing the song, ‘Come Just As You Are’. That is how we invite you to join us.
Serving Him and Them,
Ken Griffin, pastor
