Teams Ministries
North End Baptist Church has several Ministry Teams that organize and oversee its various ministries. Each Ministry Team is composed of church members who feel called and gifted to carry out every aspect of its particular ministry. Each Ministry Team works in conjunction with the vision of the pastoral staff and seeks to carry out the ministry of the church.
Membership on Ministry Teams is every changing. Church members can contact team leaders to request being added to the team. Members may be assigned to serve on subgroups of a team for a particular function, event or project. And finally, members can opt off of teams at anytime for any reason.
Baptismal Team: To assist candidates and staff in the preparation and arrangements for baptism and to insure that all necessary materials are secured before each baptismal service.

Building/Grounds Team: To recommend, coordinate and follow-up on all maintenance, repair and remodeling of the church's buildings and parking areas.

Conference Team: To assist pastoral staff in community outreach through conferences and ministry events. This assistance may be in the form of help with publicity, hospitality, gifts, food preparation and registration.

Food Service: To assure that the church's kitchen is equipped with dishes, cooking wares, utensils, and equipment necessary for proper operations and is properly maintained and cleaned.

Historical Team: To keep a record of church's history by writing & maintaining annual summaries of church activities and achievements.

Hospital Team: To assist staff members in ministering to those of our church family and prospects who are in a hospital or rehab center.

Hostess Team: To plan, decorate for, and prepare and serve food and refreshments at church-wide special events such as receptions, Wednesday night meals, banquets, Get Acquainted luncheons, and other special events:

Medical Response: To assist individuals who are having a medical emergency by applying firstaid until Emergency units arrive.

New Members Team: To work with church staff in assembling and distributing new member packets to new members.

Security Team: To review security of buildings and parking areas and recommend ways to make them more secure, and to patrol church parking areas and buildings during weekly worship services and assures that vehicles, buildings and parishioners are protected from theft, vandalism and other crimes.

Sign Changing Team: To change messages on church sign as scheduled.

Teller Team: To count, record and safeguard contributions received during church services.

Usher Team: To greet, welcome, seat and assist all parishioners who attend worship services and other special events. They also assist in receiving the offering during worship services.

Welcome/Greeter Team: To greet, welcome and assist visitors and members who attend church services. This ministry begins in the church parking lot and continues to assists all parishioners inside the church building and to appropriate meeting rooms.

Worship Care Team: To provide childcare for preschoolers while their parents are in worship service. You can serve in one of sixs areas: Hall monitor, baby room, wobbler room, two years, three years, or four years. You are scheduled about once every two months.
